White Red-Tailed Hawk
Non-melanistic Red-Tail Hawk. This is not an albino hawk. Notice that the eyes are not pink. Melanistic hawks have the normal coloring but non-melanistic hawks can be all white with the light beak and talons or dark beak and talons and some dark in the face. This is a rare raptor. This bird was at the Scarborough Faire today in Waxahaxie Texas. I have more info and will update this later. (It is very late!) |
